Complete a minimum of 45 hours of flight training, including at least 25 hours of dual instruction and 15 hours solo — of which 5 hours must be solo cross-country.
Pass 8 online theoretical exams (minimum pass mark 75%).
Pass an english language proficiency test at level 4 or higher (if required).
Complete a restricted radio license course.
Be at least 17 years old to take the two practical flight tests:
General flight test — evaluates aircraft handling in a variety of situations.
Cross-country navigation test — evaluates navigation skills on a planned triangular route within controlled airspace, including landings at airfields away from base.
After meeting practical and theoretical requirements, your training records will be reviewed and submitted to the CAA.
Pay the required issuance fee to have your SPL upgraded to a PPL.
